Let's be honest, about the only people that have more gadgets available to them than anglers, is golfers. The Fly Fisherman has more angler gadgets than we could possibly list in this page. Therefore, we highlighted some of our favorites below. Again, this is not our full selection. If there is a special item that you need for your next adventure, please call or e-mail us. 	SWTL02-1 Lighted Nipper Plus Clear Patented design features a tiny high-intensity L.E.D. for illumination. Sealed, waterproof light focuses through the cutting edges of the NIPPER, illuminating the eye of the hook. Very helpful in any light. A hook file/eye cleaning tool nests conveniently in the body of the NIPPER and assists in attaching the fly to a leader. The LIGHTED NIPPER PLUS CLEAR™ uses the latest injection molding technology and is molded in an engineering grade material. Its ergonomic design fits comfortably in all hand sizes, and will never rust.
	SWTL05 Zinger/Measuring Tape High quality steel, retractable 36" measuring tape doubles as a convenient Zinger holding nippers, forceps, lights, etc. Measuring tape can be used to measure fish or tippet.
	Deptherm works like this: dropped on a line, growing pressure forces water into the tube as the instrument descends. The volume of water trapped in the tube serves as a depth measurement column and is read off the side of the tube calibrated in feet. The thermometer on the other side assures close temperature readings if the instrument is left down for 30 seconds.
	UV Power Light The UV Power Light is designed for activating photo luminescent (glow-in-the-dark) lures and is much more efficient than white light (camera flashes), as it is tuned at 540-560 angstroms which is the most efficient wave length for charging. The light is 4 1/2" long x 5/8" diameter, powered by 3 x 1.5 volt batteries with burn time in excess 20 hours. The light source is provided by three UV LED lamps with a life exceeding 110,000 hours. Like the UV Mini Lamp, the UV Power Light can also be used to cure the UV products at a production volume rate. Construction is high grade aircraft aluminum. The unit is water proof and it comes with a nylon belt sleeve.
	The Mosquito Annoyer is an unbelievably effective unit! Really. Here is the premise: the only mosquitoes that bite are the pregnant females. This little box emits the sound of the amorous male mosquito, which she now has great disdain for. So instead of sticking around to hear all this guy's cat calls and pick up lines, she goes elsewhere. 	Thermacell works by heating a mat saturated with mosquito repellent. As the mat is heated the repellent is released into the surrounding area providing an area of protection (about 225 sq. feet) The ThermaCELL Mosquito Repellent utilizes the active ingredient known as allethrin. It belongs to a class of materials called pyrethroids, which are synthetic analogs of pyrethrin, which is a naturally occurring insecticide found in certain types of chrysanthemum known as pyrethrum flowers. Mosquitoes really do not like this material. The allethrin is contained in the blue mats, and when they are heated it causes the allethrin to "volatilize", which is similar to evaporation. The volatilized allethrin forms a zone of protection around the unit The amount of active ingredient that is released is small - not enough to kill mosquitoes, but enough to repel them. There is 0.018 oz. of active ingredient on a mat.
	ROSS LINE TAMER 2mm neoprene bands that keep line and leader on the spool where they belong. 3 to a package.
	ANGLER IMAGE LINE WINDER Makes changing and cleaning fly lines a snap. Adjustable and collapsible, so it stores easily. Take the fly line off to clean the entire reel. Will strip a 100 foot fly line in under a minute and keep it tangle free; much better than stripping it onto the ground.
