The name of the company may have changed, but the quality of the product remains superb.  Originally known as Old Florida Fly Reels, Nautilus Fly Reels continues with the tradition of making a great reel at an affordable price.  Leading the way with technology, the Mustad brothers, have designed two of the finest reels in the world.  The Standard Nautilus Reel, with the patented CCF drag system, and the new Nautilus NV.  These reels are used by are own Captain John Tarr and Rich LeBlond.

Nautilus CCF Series

All Nautilus salt water fly reels were re-designed in 2006, to incorporate the CCF Disc Brake System.  This drag system delivers silky smooth performance with near zero start-up inertia.  They are maintenance free disc drag systems and are built to withstand relentless punishment in the toughest conditions.  These reels are available in five sizes and come standard with a large arbor design.

The Nautilus CCF Disc Brake System is a maintenance free, high performance drag system.  The drag system is in a hermetically sealed center hub, making it impervious to the elements.  This hybrid drag system is free of start-up inertia and fade, meaning that it can withstand the run of any fish.
